Time Attendance
Clock in by face, fingerprint or phone at every branch and site, with shift and overtime reports that go straight into payroll.

What we usually find on site
Punch cards and sign-in books make it easy for one person to clock in for another. At month end HR chases timesheets from branches and sites and retypes them into Excel before payroll can run.
Modern time attendance uses biometrics (face or fingerprint) that one person can't fake for another, and sends records to central software (on-premise or cloud) automatically over the network or 4G.
Making it fit how Laos works
- Touchless face terminals suit sites where hands are dirty or gloved. Choose models with liveness detection so a photo can't clock someone in.
- Remote sites: terminals store records while the internet is down and sync when it's back, or a mobile app checks GPS/geofence.
- Complicated rosters: rotating shifts, night shifts, 14/7 mine rotations and Lao public holidays.
- Dust and sun: terminals at a factory gate or on site need a canopy. Low morning sun straight into the camera slows face scanning and the queue grows.
On queues: a factory with 300 people starting a shift together needs enough terminals. A face scan takes under a second, but people standing in the wrong spot or wearing helmets slow it down. We plan roughly one terminal per 100–150 people arriving at once.
Into payroll
Late arrivals, early leavers, absences and overtime export to Excel/CSV or connect by API to HR/ERP. The same terminal can double as a door reader. Biometric data is stored as encrypted templates (not photos) and should be deleted when someone leaves.
What it does

Works offline
Stores locally, syncs when back online.
Shift management
Rotating, night and site rotation rosters.
Automatic reports
Lateness, absence and overtime.
Payroll export
Excel/CSV or API to HR/ERP.

FAQ
Face or fingerprint?
Sites and factories: face, because it's touchless and dirty hands don't matter. Offices on a budget: fingerprint still works well.
Is data lost when the internet drops?
No. Terminals store records internally (usually hundreds of thousands) and sync when reconnected. They do need backup power, or a morning power cut means nobody can clock in.
Does it handle Lao holidays and rosters?
Most software lets you define holiday calendars and shift rules. We set them up to match your HR policy, including extra holidays announced each year.
