IP-PBX & VoIP Phone System

Business IP-PBX: extensions, trilingual IVR, call transfer, recording and internal calls between Lao and Thai branches over VPN.

IP-PBX & VoIP Phone System

What we usually find on site

The old analog PBX cannot grow, spare parts are hard to find and it cannot ring anyone outside the office. So salespeople call customers from personal mobiles. There is no call record, and when they resign, customers keep calling their personal number.

Telephony over your network

An IP-PBX brings desk IP phones, softphones on mobiles and PCs, and outside lines into one system. Outside lines connect two ways: your existing lines through an FXO gateway (keep your numbers), or a SIP trunk where a Lao carrier offers one in your area. Branches linked by VPN or SD-WAN call each other on internal extensions at no call cost.

Features people use every day

  • IVR in three languages: "Press 1 for Lao, 2 for Thai, 3 for English"
  • Ring groups and queues for sales and service
  • Call recording for coaching and disputes (announce it in the IVR)
  • Softphones so sales and site staff answer the company number on their mobiles

The network voice needs

Choppy, broken audio is nearly always a network problem, not a phone problem. We put phones on a dedicated voice VLAN, mark QoS (DSCP EF) end to end through to the firewall, power handsets from PoE switches and put the IP-PBX and those switches on UPS. Otherwise, every power cut takes the whole building's phones down with it.

Tell us how many extensions, outside lines and branches you have, and we will design the dial plan and equipment list.

  3. 3

Prepare the network: voice VLAN, QoS, PoE and UPS.

  4. 4

Install the IP-PBX, gateways and handsets; move existing lines onto FXO ports.

  5. 5

    Train receptionists and users.

FAQ

Can we keep our existing phone numbers?

Yes. Existing lines plug into an FXO gateway connected to the IP-PBX, so the numbers stay the same and customers notice nothing.

Do phones work during a power cut?

Yes, if the IP-PBX, gateways and PoE switches are on UPS. Each IP phone draws roughly 3–7W of PoE, and we include that in the UPS sizing.

Cloud PBX or on-premises PBX?

An on-premises PBX keeps internal calls working when the internet drops and connects analog lines easily. Cloud PBX suits scattered teams but goes silent when the internet does. For Lao offices with analog lines we usually recommend on-premises.
